Sakura Taisen 2 is more of the same from the first game but that's not a bad thing, once again you will need to understand Japanese to play this game. The design team have tweaked some aspects but nothing that takes away from the gameplay. For example one thing that they did that I really liked was now you have to option to stop the voice track and continue the conversation instead of having to wait for the audio when you have already read the text below. You can now only protect a character three times instead of eight. This story takes place two years after the first game and the original cast is joined by two new characters. Of the two games I thought the story here was the better of the two and if you are on the fence about this game and you enjoyed the first game then I would say go ahead and jump in.
