To deal with the fact that Sonic Extreme had been canceled Sega decided to release Sonic 3D blast on the Saturn. This is the same game that had already been released for the Genesis. Its really not that great of a game and is a really early 3D game with an isometric view. I also felt like Sonic was running on ice the whole time, very slippery. Japan didn't get this game until the end of 1999 almost 3 years after the USA and Europe, the packaging and CD label depict a more Dreamcast style Sonic. Your not missing much if you never play this one.
